Not a sequel, but a good practical sailors' book

The book to which this is a sequel is about the author's experience sailing around the world more or less by accident [no, I'm not going to go into that here - see the original book]. This book is not really a sequel to that; it is more like a technical appendix. You'll learn how to plan for the trip, how to operate without a GPS, technical repair pointers, and so on. There is no reason to own the first volume in order to make this text useful; but the first volume will certainly convince you that Denton Moore has walked the talk.
