This book is written by the mother and daughter survivors of our 17 year battle with prostate cancer. Our soul-mate fought so valiantly and underwent many radical procedures, salvages of salvages to be exact. He had so many procedures done to him over the years that medics at the time thought he had gone further than any man in the UK.Although the journey can be a roller coaster ride it is frequently the most out and out frightening one for those concerned. This book illustrates one particular journey, our journey, with the choices, therefore the roads trodden, as a result of these choices. It is not meant to imply that we trod the correct paths or indeed made the right choices. However the journey can be lonely for those involved and the hope is that an insight into our many battles will encourage others to fight for that one life that they have and enjoy it. It really is worth it. We enhanced our journey wherever possible and we hope that you might be able to see how you could enhance yours.
