This is a wonderful read. It is a unique view of Nazi Germany through the eyes of a minor political prisoner. It is not about the concentration camps but a "normal" prison experience for a normal person who was simply denounced by a "friend" and accused of high treason for being anti-Hitler. The journal displays her frustration and her account of what happened as a prisoner. I highly recommend this book for anyone studying WW2, Germany, or women's issues. It is certainly a different perspective that should not be overlooked.
