Great Biology Textbook

This is a well written book in clear and simple language for students studying biology for the GCSE. The book is well illustrated and has questions at the end of each chapter which help with comprehension of the subject. The book is well organized into the following sections: * Section 1: Some principles of Biology * Section 2: Flowering plants * Section 3: Human Physiology * Section 4: Genetics and Heredity * Section 5: Organisms and their Environment * Section 6: Diversity of Organisms Overall, a student-friendly textbook that is well worth buying.

Well Written and Well illustrated!

GCSE Biology by Donold Gordon Mackean is very helpful in getting good scores in both GCSE O'Levels and GCSE A'Levels general biology. Yes, it can get immensly detailed at certain instances, for example when studying the working of the Medulla Oblongata, The Human Heart and Transpiration. Well actually, in my experience, this book is for GCSE and IGCSE A'levels, which truly goes into the depth of biology.
