WOW! And I mean wow!

I have read many adaptations of movies and have always found that they manage to flesh out what is missing, but this book does more than that, this book makes you wish they had mad the movie based on the work rather than the other way around. Andreassi has a very easy writing style and paces his story with the right amount of drama, humor and pathos. A must have this holiday season if you missed it before! Forget the movie! Read a book!

The Fox network really dropped the ball on this fine piece of American Fiction. The character development was shockingly true to life...And Gargantua is one scary mother.
