mind-boggling expansion of view

Although this book is a bit dated it has a great plus : the large, full-color illustrations of the anatomy of our galaxy are very good. The trip out to the Local Group (the group of galaxies near our own) is a mind-boggling expansion of the view. The information in the short texts accompanying each large illustration are clear and easy to understand. I learned a lot from this book. Thanks for the trip!
