It is beautifully illustrated and chronicles the sadly short life of this glamorous woman, who captured the hearts of French, British and American theatre-goers. Her spectacular and erotic stage costumes and supposedly scandalous lifestyle kept the public enthralled. This book helps keep her memory alive and is an entertaining read.
