This is a statistics book specifically geared towards the education community. It emphasizes conceptual development with an engaging style and clear exposition.
This is a well written book. A very good introductory book for people starting to learn statistics like me. I was doing a project and I wanted to try out simple statistics with my data. The book was facilitative enough for self-reference in simple tasks, and for more complex things, it can be resourceful as a textbook too.
A review of the book, not the CD

I bought this book as a supplement to the required book for an introductory stats class I'm required to take. I have't read the book entirely, but the parts I've read provide a much more clear explanation of the concepts than my other book. The book is written in a very friendly way so if you're not a math geek, you can actually understand it. I was struggling in my class but this book has cleared up some of the things that confused me that my other book (and my professor's lectures) didn't.
