To be perfectly honest, I don't even know where this book came from. I'm somewhat overrun with books and I was in the garage this weekend looking for something on one of the "overflow" bookcases when I ran across this little gem. THE FULLNESS OF LOVE: STORIES OF WILLIE'S GIFTS, by Mary Boyd Faloon is a story that touch every heart. This is the story of a Down's syndrome child and the effect he had on his family. Wonderfully written by Willie's mother, this story will have you simultaneously laughing out loud and five minutes later, crying your eyes out. There is a great deal to be learned from this very well written book. At just under 100 pages, it is a perfect read for a rainy afternoon. Follow Willie's story from birth into his 4th decade. This story will make those less fortunate children of God seem just a little more normal to the rest of us. This is a story of unwavering faith, tolerance, patience and love. A gem of a read.
