Amazing Series!!

My nine year old can't get enough of this series!! She's on book 7 and is begging me to get the rest of the series for her so she won't have to pause between books. A book series that can inspire reading like Avalon: Web of Magic does deserves far more than 5 stars!!

Avalon Web of Magic: Old versus New

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, as well as the rest of the Avalon series. This might even be the last book of the series, which makes me kind of sad. I couldn't name my favorite thing about 'Full Circle', because all of it was exciting! Of course, the book was great, as the rest of the series has been, but I did notice a couple of things. Example: When the first part of the Avalon series came out (it was being published by CDS books), not only was it in two series (Avalon Web of Magic and Avalon Quest for Magic), but it didn't have any pictures, which left everything to be imagined, but some of the magical animals had a funny way of talking, instead of just speaking 'normal english'. Personally, I liked having no pictures which left me room to imagine the characters however I chose. I also liked the way that those magical animals spoke. (ie. the d'flys and some of the ones from Aldenmore. The mages' bondeds spoke just fine, which was good as they spoke alot more than the others.) I think this made those who spoke the way they did a bit funnier. But this is all probably because I started with the CDS published books, but when they stopped at 'Dark Mage', now the elventh book out of twelve, I had to finish with two books to go with the new publishers, Seven Seas. I have nothing against the illistrator or the publishers, but I have to admit that I think the other covers suited the books a little better, and the new pictures within the books are a bit distracting and make the characters appear unreal. Of coures not everyone will agree with me, which is fine! But I hope everyone who reads these books will enjoy them. I'd recommend these to people who like fantasy-adventure stories with a little mystery and humor mixed in.
