Wow! Really good!!

(Don't worry, I'm not one, I just did that because, ah never mind.)Ok, I was just like "Ew, Gross! I mean 30 years older! Please Tana! What were you thinking?! I can't believe she went out with her BEST FRIENDS DAD! That isn't right... But anyway, this was an excellent book, I would recommend it to... 18 or so year old's and up. Somewhere around there. You see she was raped at 18 and after that she stopped going out. With everyone. She met this guy Harrison Winslow IV or something and he falls in love with her but she claims their just friends but she doesn't know how he feels yet. So it goes on, Harry joins the war or something and he gets shot and it scars him for life. She "falls in love" with with 4 or 5 different people including Harry's dad and finally she finds "the one". Sharon, a pretty black girl and Harry are her best friends. All her mom want's is for her to marry someone and have kids(preferably someone rich)and they fight almost every time they talk. Her mom doesn't believe about the rape and Harry finally gets over Tana and Marries and has kids and I'm realizing nothing good really happens to Tana. Not really anyway. Mostly everyone she knows and loves die. I wanted her to have a better life. Hehe. I wanted Tana(just like her mom0 to marry Harry, but oh well, Buy it!, Its an excellent book! In the end she really does come full circle! It's really a sad and tragic-like book so be ware! LOL

Once I read this book, all others were compared to it. I feel like a story should come in full circle. This one did. It's rare you find a book that you feel like you've accomplished something when you're finished. You've learned, you've smiled, cried...everything!! Classic DS

An outstandingly sensitive book hard to believ it's fiction.

This book drew out every emotion possible, anger, pain,happyness, sadness you name i felt it. I found it hard not to feel pity for tana Roberts over protective mother, all she wanted was for her daughter to have the things she missed out on,i could relate to Tana's needs and desires which were by no means unusual or far fetched. A book crammed with emotion that SHOULD not be missed.
