It changed my mom's life

This book is the single thing my mom credits her success to. She just passed the NCLEX-RN exam and was asked 75 questions with almost 10 6-clue questions and 15 medications. Though she was not at all confident, her result was not accidental but a direct result of her work and daily routine of preparation in which this book was the main star and a bit of luck from God. I say this because she has taken this exam more than 10 times! (She studied in a foreign country and though she was a registered nurse of two countries with practical knowledge spanning 15 years, the latest theoretical material that was tested on the exam was always new and random). And each time she got her results, they always indicated that she was near or below the passing standard. The bullet entry list made each point she read stick to her brain. She worked on 4 pages a day (it has 250) and read a few chapters of any prep book-like Kaplan and Mosby's. Also, the book gives which topic each bullet goes along it which was helpful. At the end, she said this book provided just as much info as a 800-page book without the unnecessary details that confused her. It really is the perfect study guide.

Great Prep for NCLEX-RN and beyond...

This is a great resource to help prep for the NCLEX-RN! Also, it's excellent to keep around anytime the nurse needs to brush up on areas he or she may not work in on a regular basis (e.g., pediatrics, maternity, mental health, etc.). So, don't just toss it aside once you pass the NCLEX-RN, but keep it handy and review it from time-to-time just to keep yourself clinically sound in all the basic areas of nursing practice. The book is well organized and accurate. You will love it!

This book delivers

On first impression, I was impressed by this book. Not only does it contain testing advice for NCLEX, but it has the basic facts! So many study aids overwhelm with information, and make studying a cumbersome tast. This book is a great supplement to any NCLEX review book a student might already have, and is easy to reference anytime, anywhere.

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, CLEAR AND PRECISE NURSING FACTS!!

This book helped me a great deal on my exams and some of my instructors got questions from this little book because alot of students think that the exams questions only come from those thick NCLEX review books.The book had short mostly single sentence facts on all aspects of nursing and medications. It is easy to read and carry around and it is a good reference book. The only thing I wish is that it could be sectioned out according to area, however by each fact it states the area but it still all together and if you're looking for something specific the page number in the glossary lead you to it. The writers of the book are nurses that teach the NCLEX and stay up on its changes so that it focuses on the important things and not nonsense. It is definately money well spent and not alot of money either.

Frye's 2500 Nursing Bullets helped me to pass the NCLEX-RN

I recommend this book because it helps to recall/remember important nursing facts that you will need to know for the NCLEX-RN exam....It reinforces what you already know....However, I don't recommend it to be used as your only study guide, but rather to be used in companion with a thorough NCLEX-RN comprhensive guide. It is an excellent book filled with many need-to-know nursing facts right at your finger tips, one after another.
