good book but not in very good shape like advertisesd

The book is a good one and if you are going to Ireland you should get the book. When I recived it it was old looking and definetly was a older book but I am satisfided with my purchase.

Very helpful

I love the "from $__ a day" series, even if the titles are slightly misleading (not sure how you could stay within the listed dollar amount unless you skip meals). I've used the books for both Ireland and England, and found them helpful for accommodation, dining & sightseeing. The list of accommodations for each location is short, as with most travel books, but we found clean & friendly B & Bs that I would return to, and all we looked at were reasonably priced. I like that the books don't waste space on restaurants and hotels that very few people can afford, and using the books we've found some unique places. My only issue was in 2003 -- the current Ireland edition at that time listed a music museum in Dublin that had been closed for several years (frustrating to discover after a 45 minute walk...). Aside from that, the books have been great, and I will be getting the new edition next time I plan an extended trip.

Great Book

This book was indespensible for the trip that I just took. It really helped on the front end for planning where to go, and also when we were there, so we would have extra ideas. It was neat to see a place and wonder if maybe we ought to try it out, and more than half the time there was a description of it in this book. The desciptions really helped. Great book.
