I loved the first book and I can't wait to read the second one. I am very glad that you found God and keeping him close to your heart. Janice keep writing and telling your story. I know you are helping other parents as well as children out there.

Book II No Direction!!!!! MUST READ

I met her and got both books...Book II No Direction, is as,amazing as book one. Some of things she did to survive and the lession she learned should have never been taught by a teenager. I also saw her on FOX Television, she is nice author and really down to earth. I was honored to meet her. I like the way she keeps it real in her books as well as in her workshops. I look forward to book 3. Ms Higgins, Please continue to do out reach to trouble teens, that is your true calling from God. If anyone on this earth don't believe in change, they need to read the eye opening, spritual awakings and blessing that happened your life. I thank you for have the courage to write the series. I will continue to follow your work.

I have Book II!!! NO Direction... Couldn't put it down!!!!!

Wonderful 1st book!

Janice Higgins has really told the story in a superior manner. This is so real and so tragic. Janice has made tragedy somewhat beautiful as the story reveals how she dealt with tough situations and came out such a personable individual.There Were No Parents Here is a story dealing with a child who had such adversities and abusive situations, it is a wonder she did not wind up dead. Every chapter was filled with excitement and wonder. Every chapter left you wanting more! In fact, I have purchased copies to share with my family as this book is so revealing. You do not feel sorry for Janice as she found the Salvation, friends and strength needed to overcome the obstacles in her life.Kudos to you Janice for telling your story and please hurry with the other chapters. Excellent job! If you want to read plain old "real" truth that can happen to children where there are no parents available, get this book and read it. Strongly recommended.
