Horrible Tragedy - Well Told

Written by someone who was there and survived that terrible night at The Station - this is a strong and compelling read. This book should be read by everyone who ever went into a small night club or bar to see live music. It shows just how fast a fire can develop and snuff out hundreds of lives and how all too often, people do not know how to escape the burning building (or the exits are locked, blocked, inaccessible, etc.). It shows that - you are on your own for your own safety when going to a jam-packed night club or bar and that survival is often a matter of luck. But this is also the story of how one woman fought back from the terrible burns and scars (physical and emotional) she suffered that night, assisted by her loving family and friends and people in the community.

Great book

A great book. I knew someone who also passed away that night. Gina did a great job with her story and what a strong person. Lets hope nothing like this ever happens again.
