well written, intriguing story of eva, of jewish descent, and angelo a catholic raised as siblings in italy during ww2.. while angelo and eva are fictional, the events and many characters are real and were heros during ww2 smuggling jews to safety. risking their lives daily without regard for their own safety. well worth the read. thank you to amy harmon for a moving and memorable read.
