Thoughtful, Helpful and Enjoyable!

I found From Rebellion to Redemption an extremely helpful overview of the Reformed Faith. As a pastor, I am often looking for resources that help explain the basics of the Christian faith in a straight forward and creative way. I espcecially liked the author's own expostion set along side some of the great voices of Christian history. This is an outstanding book for someone looking for a year long study to deepen their faith individually or to use as a group. I highly recommend this book.

A surprising and amazing find

The myriad theologians and writers referred to and quoted in this marvelous book are ones I would never have read on my own. But this book was highly recommended to me and through reading the easy weekly entries I was not only exposed to some very intriguing and inspirational writing from well-known writers, but I feel I have a better understanding of my faith. This is a book that tackled a heavy and difficult subject with depth but also simplicity - easy to understand, solid, and well written.

Book Helped Me Understand My Faith

This book was a real help for me. As a Christian in the Reformed tradition, I wanted to get into our traditional creeds and faith statements. But I wasn't sure where to start, and knew I wanted something that would be relevant to my life. The comments were brief and clear, and the other readings included helped me appreciate many new voices from the wider Christian tradition. I'm going to start over again at the beginning and try to obsorb even more of this excellent work. I recommend it for any Christian who wants to better understand the great themes of faith.
