A Way Through the Grief Process

This little book was given to me after the death of my husband of 23 years. At first I could barely read it in my grief. But God kept leading me back to it and I am glad to have this gem to help me as I mourn the loss of my best friend. Six months into the grieving, the things I had been avoiding (tears, pain, loss, etc.)finally burst upon my life. Busyness could no longer keep them at bay. The Christmas season was also upon me and so the loss was greatly intensified. People's well-meaning words did not help much; but this precious little book is doing wonders for me in the process of crying and trying to function in a normal life. If you or someone you know is struggling after losing a loved one, this book is a great big help. It can be taken in in the privacy of your own little space or shared with a true friend as you walk through that painful valley of living after death. Charles Shepson knows what that is like and he puts it simply. Thank You, Lord, for this book.
