Roxanne McCain was gorgeous. She was 5 foot 6 inches of legs that went on for days. She had green eyes that could drop any man to his knees and hair the color of chocolate. She was used to getting whatever she wanted. That is until she applied to her mother's alma mater, Vanderbilt, and didn't get in. Roxanne wasn't looking forward to attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and hoped it would only be a couple semesters. It wasn't a bad school. That was more his younger brother's style. His family owned a veterinary clinic in the heart of Chattanooga. It was his father's dream that he had wanted to pass down to both of his sons. After his brother, Bryce, died in a four- wheeling accident at age seventeen, Zachary deferred college wanting to help his family cope and pick up the slack at the clinic. After a year, things were at a new normal and his parents felt it would be okay for him to return to school.
