Lots of ideas

My 7 year old daughter was so excited when she opened up this book. We saved it until the day after Christmas because we thought she might be getting something similar from someone else-- but she didn't. I had taken her with me to go pick out floss and she didn't know why so when she opened that she was a little confused. I used to make a lot of friendship bracelets when I was a kid so I knew I could help her and it looks like this book is best used if there is someone around to show the basics of friendship bracelet making. Overall, it's a good book to learn how to do different designs and I am so happy that it doesn't come with the lame 'maker wheel' that some of the others come with.

a good starting reference

It gives good diagrams and descriptions of how to do basic and more advanced designs. My 9 yr. old is learning how to make them.

Very Pleased

I was really happy with this book. Although I knew a few of the designs already, it tought me how to do a couple of new bracelets and how to double up the patterns I already knew. This would be an especially good book for a beginner, or the Klutz book. I have both, and I take them almost everywhere with me!

A Fabulous Book!

A great book!!! The designs range from the unique to the complex, with simple, easy to understand instructions and illustrations. Great for adults or children.

Clear, helpful, easy instructions for novice or advanced

make this a particularly pleasant book. I bought it and the Busch book at the same time; although there is overlap, this book confines itself to knotted floss bracelets and very clear written instructions (the drawings are helpful too, but I was more impressed by the writing and the hints). Probably the better of the two for the younger or less experienced knotter.
