A Fantastic Read...

First time out novelist, Frances Richter, is convincing from page one. Her dynamic characters come to life in a murder mystery that explores the underground secrets of pornography while testing jurist, Sheldon Bailey's, boundaries with prime murder suspect, Liv Jordon. Bailey's interpersonal struggle with her commitment to her own lover is familiar and honest. Compelled to turn the page, Friend of the Firm has a quick moving plot driving your desire to examine just how far boundaries will stretch and to learn who "who-dun-it" and why.

I loved this book!

Friend of the Firm is an outstanding read for this first-time author. It is a true "who done it" with character twists and plot surprises throughout. I dare say most readers will be on the edge of their seats until the last page. This is a book you won't want to put down, as the end of each chapter leaves the reader needing to know what happens next to Sheldon and Liv and the details of the murder. I can't wait for Frances Richter's next novel in her Sheldon Bailey mystery series!
