loved this book. One of my favorites

From the back cover "One precious night a week, Jordan Lake fell into her secret lover's arms in their elegant hotel suite hideaway. Nick liked feeling in control, and that's exactly what he didn't have in his affair with the self-assured sophisticate. Out of his element, he still found himself craving more, pushing their secret perilously close to being revealed. Until Jordan told a terrible lie that could change everything...." I loved this book. One of the best romance books I have ever read. Like the other reviewer mentioned, the hero is not the usual playboy. Heroine is not the usual 'poor damsel in distress' either. Loved the no-nonsense hero and the socialite heroine. The author made you feel that they cared for each other more than anything/anyone else. One of the very few romances I ever re-read and I would highly recommend it.

Not the usual Hero or Heroine

For once the hero is not the typical arrogant playboy bachelor. The hero is a good man that does everything with integrity, responsibility and honor to the family. On the other hand the heroine is the one the one with the image of a playgirl whose job is to enjoy life. The real heroine is not the extreme playgirl portrayed by the media, yet she is not the usual innocent virgin either. This book is not the typical one where the hero treat the heroine ruthlessly for revenge.
