May not be for everyone, but, its was for me

The book focuses on the internal journey of the main character, Alex, and how he is processing his grief. It doesn't go into depth about the world as much as the other books Christopher Paolini has writen, but that doesn't take away from the quality of book. The book is mostly contrived of the thoughts of Alex and his observations of the crew. I don't know how to explain it better without spoiling it too much. I loved the book, I finished it with in two days. I probably could have finished it in one sitting(but I had school work to do). The only complaint that I do have is I wish I got to know what happened after the ending of the book. You can't just leave it on a cliff hanger like that. I want to know if his budy is ok, i want to know if Alex will be ok. Paolini really makes you too emotionally invested in his characters, he needs to calm down.

not one of my recomendations

Christopher is one of my favorite authors, however, after reading this book, was either totally lost or the book had no story. go through the whole story to end up nowhere. i If "thud" was the center of the plot, it was lacking. one persons mental issues doesnt make for a rereadable book. I buy the hard cover editions because i I reread most of them. The Eargon series i have read over and over. To sleep in a sea of stars was well told, this book i can not wait to get out of my house.
