Another good book from Friends of Ed

I bought it last year but it was a little outdated and unnecessary complicated when explaining how to get PHP/Apache/MySQL installed. I consider myself an experienced user but that part of the book dissapointed me. What I love about FOED books is that they develop an entire application and guides you step by step. Their books are my choice NO. 1! Of course, this book is now a little outdated and would recommend to buy the new ones.

Clear and creative

This book is an excellent starting point for anyone who has only just got to grips with other dreamweaver versions. It gives clear but creative information in a way that is easy to follow. It's very well written and gives some good examples

Great for Beginners

As a novice i found this book very helpful, it was very clear and the case studies gave realistic examples that i could apply to my experiences. The language isnt too technical. The content is in depth without being over whelming.

The Mutts Nutts

I bought this book from my local private bookstore; as soon as I picked it up I was grabbed by the simplicity and the clear stating of what I needed to know. Personally I can never get to grips with html tables but with the tutorial on table layout I can now create complex tables with ease, I can now even add CSS styles to them. Wow! I was overwhelmed at the progress I made within a few days of reading; I can now even add flash movies into my page. Basically this book got me from the stage of "oh god, how can I do this?" to "erm, I'm bored I want to do more advanced stuff". Great Book
