Can't ask for Better Start

This books provide and excellent introduction. To the spanish language good for self study and otherwise.

Excellancy in Learning Spanish

Being a bi-lingual teacher, I find that this book diaplays an excellant logical approach to the understanding and teaching of the Spanish language. The foundation in learning Spanish is layed out by the authors. For example: In the lession guide or the teacher's edition, the author shows simply how the course should be taught. First, each student is required to listen to the language and in this case the words in conversation. The teacher is required to speak the lesson. Secondly, each student then learns writing the questions and complete answers that were spoken by the teacher. Then,thirdly, the student is required to recite the lesson. Personally, as a child in a Spanish speaking home, I learned spanish by learning to listen first, then identifying words and lastly reciting what I learned precisely and correctly. For an individual who has no knowledge of Spanish this "Foundation Course in Spanish" will help the student to retain the Spanish Language.
