Fortune's Wheel

My attention was seized from the first pages. Read it through in one sitting. Found the other 5 books in this series equal in entertainment. Really - really want to see the 7th book in this series which is "in preparation" according to Ms Norman.

Better than the first!

Wow, she's outdone herself! I can't wait to read the third, I hope she remains at these standards! so far, I love this series and it's twists and turns, what a world!

GRIPPING JOURNEY INTO ALIEN SOCIETY

THE BRILLIANT FOLLOWUP TO TURNING POINT IS FORTUNE'S WHEEL. NORMAN IS A SUPERIOR WORLD-BUILDER THAT REMINDS ME OF CHERRYH AND BRIN. YOU REALLY BEGIN TO CARE ABOUT CARRIS AND KUSAC AND THEIR WORLD. I ALSO WAS FASCINATED BY THE SHOLAN CULTURE. NORMAN NOVEL IS FILLED WITH ENOUGH ACTION INTRIGUE AND ROMANCE TO SATSIFY ANY SF FAN.

So good that I couldn't put it down

There is the old saying that "One cannot judge a book by its cover." I picked up the novel in the store out of sheer boredom and couldn't put it down. The author of the novel doesn't pull any punches. Lisanne Norman allows the reader the opportunity to get to know the main character by observing their actions instead of reading about their characteristics. The attention paid to visual details was refreshing and being a closet romantic, the relationship between the two main characters was appealing. This book while based on fiction has emeshed within it elements or reality such as prejudice, hate and fear of the unknown. I suggest that you change into something comfortable and order that pizza because this is one book that you will not want to put dow
