Excellent, with a great, twisted ending

AAAIIIGH! WHERE IS THE SEQUEL!This book just begs for a sequel, but there isn't one in sight. The main characters are delightfully imperfect, and developed in a manner that is rare to find in a fantasy novel. The rest of the book matches them, including a world that has obviously been thought out in exacting detail and is self-consistent and believable, as well as deliciously described. It shouldn't be out of print.
