I want to set something straight...

After reading through some of the other reviews of this book I felt I had to set the record straight. This is a wonderful, amazing, incredible book, along with the other three in the series. I wish so much that she had written more like it, and I hope the series wasn't discontinued because of uninformed negative reviews. Linda Lael Miller is a romance novelist and she does not pretend to be otherwise. Those persons looking for a horror story will not find it here. Just a touching story of what it might be like to be a vampire in love with a mortal. Her ability to tell a story with characters you almost feel you know, is one of a kind. She is by far the best romance novelist today. But as I said, she's a romance novelist. If you were looking for a horror story and bought this without doing your homework on the author, don't write in a negative review - it's not fair.

I liked this book so much that I BOUGHT the others.

This book had me spell bound from the beginning, so much so that I was upset when I found I was missing the second book in this series. Aidan's quest to become human again for the love of a female mortal who just happens to be running from her own demons--of sorts. I loved this book because of its vivid description of certain time periods and the costumes they wore and the quick action by Aidain. Actually, I thought that Lisette would show up a lot sooner than she did in the story, especially after finding out that Adian went to the brotherhood for help on his quest. This book was so good that I plan to read it a second time--after I finish the others in the series. I think they are definite keepers.

This is great!

What a great change of characters. The romance of a vampire...I could not put the book down. I read it out of order but it does not matter. The books stand alone with just a mention and explanation of other vampires. I found it very interesting to fall in love with a vampire. This was a wonderful book if you are interested in a new twist of love. Who says a vampire should not search a lifetime for the love of his life.

I CAN'T RESIST A VAMPIRE...............

I read this book a few years ago when it first came out, andcould hardly wait for the other 3 that followed. All are EXCELLENTreads. Have been fascinated by the whole vampire legend since I read Dracula in the 4th grade, then got hooked on Dark Shadows as a kid. Though I don't read romances much, I'd definitely make an exception if Ms. Miller decides to add another to this series!

Great Book of Series....

I read this book first of the series...I loved it so much that I bought the rest of the books and read them also before anything else..but yet I would like to read more in the series...I highly recommend them to anyone who likes the night and romance in one..really adds spice to ones life....
