Exceptional!

This book had me bitting my nails. This medical thriller is captivating, it is fast paced and full of unexpected events. It takes place in a New Delhi hospital, where Jennifer Hernandez, a medical student from UCLA and close friend of Dr. Laurie Montgomery, discovers her grandmother has undergone hip surgery and has died. She hears of her grandmother's untimely death on the news. She has difficulty believing it actually is her grandmother who has died and not someone else with the same name. Once she discovers without a doubt that it is her Grandmother, the story takes some unexpected turns. Dr. Laurie Montgomery and her husband Jack Stapleton, after hearing the story, are quick to help Jennifer in her search for answers and what they uncover is truly horrifying. The autopsy regulations in the country are astounding and increase the difficulty Jack and Laurie experience in obtaining evidence. This novel is a must read the outcome is worth it. Foreign Body by Robin Cook

I have read all of Cook's books, and this one really stood up to his standards. A lot of page turning, and anticipation, which I also find intriguing in his books. Hard to put down..If it wasn't for my eyes that get so tired, I would have had this book read in no time. His books always make you wonder about what could happen in real life, and this book is no exception. A very good read and highly recommended.

I love Robin Cook!

Robin Cook is my favorite author of what I would call the Medical or Scientific sub-genre of mystery/thrillers. And Foreign Body was no disappointment.

I disagree with the poor reviews - I liked it!

I've been reading Robin Cook books for somewhere around 20 years and I continue to love them. I enjoyed this book immensely. Yes, he tends to recycle a couple of characters, but overall I enjoy the writing style because it's familiar. I always know what I'm getting with Cook - an entertaining medical thriller.

Robin Cook's Foreign Body

Robin Cook has done it again by keeping you on the edge of your seat. You want to keep reading it until the end. A true page turner.
