In the sequel to Audrey Rose, Janice Templeton takes over Elliot Hoover's search for the peaceful reincarnation of his daughter's soul, which he believed inhabited 10-year-old Ivy Templeton. But then Ivy dies in a reanactment of Audrey's death and Elliott disappears.
I'm writing because I'm rather surprised by all the negative reviews this book has received. During the past month I have reread both the original "Audrey Rose" and this, the sequel, and enjoyed them both. The sequel is simply a logical continuation of what happened where the first story ended. Nothing about what happens with the characters seemed strange or out of character, as some of the other reviewers said. And I found the ending very touching. If you enjoyed the original, I think you'll enjoy the sequel as well.
