God's love for the Jewish people

Another wonderful book by Basilea Schlink of Germany, expressing God's covenant love for His chosen people, the Jews. Dr. Klara Schlink was one of two founding mothers of a new order of mainly protestant Sisters. The Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary grew out of a revival of repentance spurred by the Allied bombing of Darmstadt, Germany at the end of WWII. The young women were awakened by the reality of God's righteous judgement on a nation that had so horribly rejected the Jewish people. This foundational experience remains woven into the Sisters life since then, working whenever possible to bring reconciliation between Christians and Jews.
