A Tragic Love Story

When i first saw this book on the shelf of the skool library i knew it would be good, so i checked it out and found out it was the best book i have ever read! This book was about a gurl named April Lancaster and she has a tumor in her brain.Shes had it since she was 5 years old and after a while it stopped growing. When she was 17 she decided to get married to the love f her life,Mark. When Mark crashes his race car, April is devistated! She feels more lonely then ever and she's so sad! Her parents decide to take her to St.Croix to see if that helps her forget and try to have a good time. When she gets there a boy named Brandon sees her and he thinks shes the most beautiful thing. They get to be friend but April decides not to tell Brandon about her medical condition because shes afraid he might not like her anymore or run away from her like all the other guys she liked. They get really close and then one day on a sailing trip April experiences her headaches again and her parents rush her back to New York for tests. April didn't even have time to say goodbye to Brandon! April finds out that the tumor has started growing...will her and mark still be able to be together after she tells him her problem? what will happen to April?...read the stroy to find out!

A shattering addition to a glorious love story

The beautiful sequel to the even better "Til Death Do Us Part" features April shortly after Mark's tragic death from a crash and his cystic fibrosis.April is still trying to recover from the death of her beloved fiancee, Mark Gianni. Going to the town of St. Croix, she meets a young man named Brandon who begins to fall for her. Though she befriends Brandon, April refuses to go any further, feeling that it would be a betrayal of Mark. But when April's brain cancer comes out of remission, she knows that she will soon die. But the young man who's fallen in love with her doesn't want to see her die...This is a heartbreaking story-you feel sorry for both of the characters, April because of her loss, her cancer and her desire not to love again; and Brandon because of the life he and April can't have. Brandon's final scene is so touching and loving that I almost howled.Forget the usual romances. These books show true love as it really is.

A must read for girls!

I read For Better, For Worst, Forever by Lurlene McDaniel for my book report. I loved this book. Lurlene McDaniel books I can't put down. I think this book was a really emotionl book. I liked the part when April was doing her ritual for Mark, her fiance, who died a while ago. Another part I liked was when April was spending time with Brandon. These are only a few good parts in this book. You need to read it to find out the rest. I would recommend this book to 13-15 year old girls.

Excelent book!

The book For Better, for Worse, Forever is such a good book! I recommend this book to every teenager and even to my teachers! I especially would like for my best friend Rachel to read this book, I know she would love it! The setting of this story is both New York and St. Croix in the Carribean duuring the summer time. The main conflict of this book is weather or not Aprils tumor will become active again and when and where she will die. The protagonist is April and the antagonist would be the brain tumor April has. I really sudgest that you go out and read this book!

The best Book Ever

For better, For worse, Forever by: Lurlene McDaniels Lurlene McDaniels is a young adult writer. She writes books about teen tragedy's and love stories. The books she writes are very touching. The book for better, For worse, Forever is about a girl named Mark and he had Cystic Fibrosis. Mark loved to drive racecars he just couldn't get enough of them. He loved them so much they killed him because of his sickness. April is heart broken from the death of Mark. After Marks death Aprils parents take her to the island of St. Croix. Her parents figure if she is not at home she will get over Marks death faster. While down in St. Croix April meets a handsome boy named Brandon! Brandon tries to get closer to April but she won't let him. April figures if she gets closer to Brandon, Mark won't forgive her for it. April starts getting sicker day by day, and starts to fall in love with Brandon. April in the end gets so sick she has to go back to New York. While in New York she visits all her friends and then after about a month she is so sick her doctor says she will die soon. April doesn't want to die in New York and wants to go back to St. Croix. The book is very good but if you want to know the end you have to read it for yourself.
