Footloose is a fun book, but good luck getting the old familiar tune to match the new words rewritte

I paid a little more for the 'very good condition' category of this hardcover book, which is usually practically like new from most sellers. The copy I received had a ripped paper jacket which thankfully still managed to keep the inside hardcover looking marvelous except for the 2 inch break in the binding at the top. The pages of the book are of high quality, thick, glossy paper with colorful, fun, and lively artwork on every page. Kudos to the artist Tim Bowers! I love children's books with great artwork and this book does not disappoint. This copy is a big hardback book so it will take up more space to store than the small 'step into reading' books. The print is very clear and the animals in their colorful garb and cute antics are entertaining. While I know this is a used book, for the category of 'very good condition', I did not expect the fourth page to have a tear halfway up the page, but perhaps this was just missed when the seller was checking the condition out. I would have expected this to be under a different category but with some magic tape, problem solved. I do wish the seller had been honest, however, in the description to mention the CD was missing, for I cannot seem to quite get the newly written words for kids to match the old familiar tune for which the CD would have been an immeasurable help. Oh well. On to ordering more great books from Thrift as this one small hiccup is not going to deter me from ordering more!
