Buy This to Make Your Food to Look as Good As It Tastes!

Finally! A book that helps you make the most out of what you're serving with solid advice on "presentation"; creative advice and options for presenting food layout, color, etc. The beginning of the book talks you through design principles (how to lay things out, color considerations, etc.), the second part talks through possibilities for individual foods (roasts, pies, potatoes, soup), and the final part is about table layout. Full of illustrations, that make you think,"Wow! Why didn't I ever think of that? It would make my look so much better, and it only takes 2 minutes to do!")No "apple swans" or "cutsie" stuff. Most of it is simple to do, but worthy of the time you put into making your dish.

For one who is looking for a dictionary on the how to's of foodstyling this book is an invaluable guide. It is arranged ing excellent format. An introduction to the basics of foodstyling and then an alpabetical guide to foods and wonderful ways of styling each one. I highly recommend this as an additon to any kitchen if you value the idea that you eat with your eyes before you ever taste it.
