Follow Your Nightmares

We follow Joel, a server working at a breakfast restaurant determined to be a successful writer in the movie industry, to take care of his family and girlfriend. Due to his unwillingness to face reality, darkness begins forming around him and the people he loves. When left with no hope but to explore his mind of what the problem might be, demons start whispering in the night, trying to stop him from following the light. This fictional story is based on real events dealing with relationships and falling into darkness allowed by negative thoughts that fruition into bad habits. Luckily, Joel meets Thug Destroyer during the most beautiful lucid dream he has ever experienced at a place referred to as the "sacred garden." Wanting to revisit it with nothing else to lose to give him storytelling ideas, he uses psychedelics. He enters a rabbit hole, causing a sleep paralysis episode that would traumatize the bravest of souls.
