In your heart

I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvved this book. I was so inspired, intrigued and engross in the characters,I could barely put it down. I read the whole book in less than 2 days I really loved Meeko for not forgetting her heritage. She was just like you and me, with real dreams, goals and aspirations. Though she found herself in many compromising positions she was still able to gird herself up and come to a place of stability. She went on to become a Grammy Winner with the thunderous voice that God gave her. She was definitely raised and not just brought up. She wanted to be obedient to her parents, even though she lived in a different state. There were times I empathized with her, I was on pins and needles for her. Wanting all her dreams to come true. But her shady manager wasn't making things any better. She was living under a lot of pressure trying to make sure she made the right moves staying in touch with her innerself. From the way she dressed to the way she talked and the songs she sung. Meeting Ty Barnatt, who became the Love of her life, it was right up my alley. I was too excited to find out how it ended. Soon meeting Ty and moving back home, became one of the biggest decisions she had to make. Her career depended on it and so did her life. Easy reading, fast paced and a must for your library.

What a Wonderful Love Story

Meeko Moore knew she had talent. She just wanted everyone to treat her like she was just plain Tammi in her home town. She would not compromise her belief and sing songs that go against it. Tamika decides to go home and visit the place where she grew up. She found much more. Rev. Tyler Barnett.Tyler was a beautiful person inside and out. He was mesmerized with Tamika at there first meeting in her mother's kitchen. He decided he would pursue her and see where things go. I really liked this book. It was very down to earth and believable. When you think about decisions that you have to make in your own life. If you just follow your heart, you usually make the right decision. Get the book!

An Excellent Love Story

Before reading this book, I was more than a little skeptical about how good this novel would be. I mean, the hero of the story is a country preacher. However, to my utter amazement, this was another romance novel I couldn't put down. This book was excellent!!! I could relate to a lot of the story, since I grew up in a Black church. I know all too well how many parishners can treat one another. This novel was so down to earth and filled with interesting characters and a wonderful plot. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and highly recommend others read it. Don't be judgmental like I was before I read this novel. Manees will most definitely entertain you and keep you interested throughout the novel. Manees is definitely blessed with a wonderful gift. She is a fantastic writer. I have already read "Fantasy" and "All for Love," and I am anticipating the release of her next novel!

Excellent!

This book was a one-nighter for me. I just couldn't seem to put it down. Even when I dozed for a few minutes, I woke only to continue reading. A true love story between a star and a man of God and the obstacles they overcome. This is definitely one to pass on!

OUTSTANDING, SUSPENSFUL, REALISTIC

This book told the story of how a local church girl turned recording star, Tameka Morgan fell in love with her new assistant pastor, Tye Barnett. Their love causes problems for both parties because they both have admirers who will go to any length to hurt that love and get revenge for not having "their" love returned. I have read no other book like this one. This is one of the few books I have read in a two day period. I could not put it down. And having finished reading it at 5:00 AM in the morning, I felt compelled to review this book. I HAD to tell somebody about it even if only on-line. Having been raised in the church all my life, I understood and heard before, the language, cliches, and scriptures used in the book and loved every one of them. I am so happy to have found an author such as Ms. Manees, who could write a romance novel with a "Christian" perspective. This in no way took away from the romance, love, and suspense this story held. I did not know how she was going to keep the story interesting. I mean, A ROMANCE NOVEL WITH A MINISTER? Who ever heard of such before? Well, when I opened this book I could not put it down. Every free moment I got, and I do mean EVERY free moment I got I was reading this book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to any and everyone. Its a must read. Having read this story I can not stop until I have read every book by Raynetta Manees. CAN SHE TOP THIS ONE? I shall see. I must see.
