Exceptional!

Never having travelled alone before, I was a little apprehensive of my trip to Prague in April (on a student's budget, no less). I scoured all the bookstores for all the tour guides, and this one won out. This book has all the information & reviews you could possibly need, but written succinctly and without any padding. Beautiful, accurate pictures on every page make reading pleasurable rather than overwhelming. The cultural discussion was a nice touch, as was all the safety/public transit info at the back. Its size -- fairly narrow -- made it very easy to tote along in a small purse, so I always had the handy Czech phrases in the back nearby, and a destination in mind. A real find! I'd buy the See It series before any other.

Colorful in more ways than one, this travel guide got me interested in Prague and all its fascinating sites long before I arrived. I never found one inaccurate detail. Tons of colorful maps made this guidebook indispensable. I just kept referring to it. Definitely recommended!
