Does Its Job, No Surprises

A good sourcebook that lives up to Fodor's standards. The major sites are listed as well as a few off the beaten path type places. In depth and useful information peppers the book, as well as the section near the front where the things you absolutely need to know about traveling in Great Britain are listed. A user friendly guidebook that's worth buying, reading, and carrying as reference.

Lots to Learn

My mom has been using Fodor's travel guides for several years now, ever since she started traveling for work, and now that I will be in England for a semester, she gave me this for my birthday. It's great because it tells you about the must-sees, they prices and hours, and oodles more, including some culture difference lessons.

I love this!

I'm going on this trip throughout England and this book is being very helpful. It includes maps from small towns and information about each one of them. You can find everything here.I'll keep you posted and let you know how good my trip was.

Wow.

This book is wonderful. It gives you a name of a town, how far it is from a couple of places, a quick overview of the site, where to stay, how much that stay will cost and what ther is to do outdoors. It offers a wide vareity of maps, along with interesting places to visit. There are many extra things in this book that are VERY helpful. For example I am a student and I plan to ride the bus. This book told me that I could get a student discount for bus passes. I can honestly say there is SO much information in this book it is unbelievable. It even covers what you should pack and little things like most hotels rarely give you soap. If you want to know EVERYTHING about GB look in to the book. It is VERY helpful.
