I could never understand how one simple book could move a person to tears, and I thought this book would be another simple story that I would remember, bug would never change from.
I have never been so wrong.
When the book first arrived, I was amazed that it barely looked touched. 10 out of 10 quality. Once I started thumbing through the pages, I noticed that the book was actually signed by Laura Sobiech. This was a very unexpected surprise, but it was certainly a great one. The only damage I could find in the book was water marks in the pages... From my crying...
I've read sad stories about loved ones dying before. None of those stories have made me sob as much as this one had. By far, the vivid description on her point of view is enough to make someone feel like they are there, walking through all of this with the family.
This is a very beautiful book showing a mother's love, a family's strength, and a boy who learned to fly a little higher through all the struggles cancer brings.
One warning to those who are considering on buying this book. Do not read this book in public. You will cry. But please, do tell people about this book. It needs more recognition and appreciation.
