Just before starting to the village Hasura along with her mother Thanuja, Mallika got a dream in which 'Lusaama' the 'god of sex' in that village has sexual intercourse with her. It was the popular belief among the villagers in that village that the 'god of sex' Lusaama would come and enjoy the women he liked in their dreams and after having sexual intercourse with him, being the liked ones to that Lussama, those women should do prostitution which is the cherished wish of that 'god of sex'. Mallika initially did not believe that but when Moosa, who was called as the devotee of Lusaama, accosted Mallika and said she was the favourite girl to Lusaama and threatened her if she did not follow the preferred way of Lusaama, that was, practicing prostitution she would be punished, Mallika started believing that rumour and began to feel fear. When she learnt, Aravind's first lover Prameela, with whom she has fallen in love after reaching to that village also has become the liked one to Lusaama and committed suicide, she became even more fearful. What Aravind did to save his second love not to fall prey to Lusaama like his first love is the story of this spicy hot romantic thriller 'Flickering Shadow'.
