This entry in the Mack Bolan saga was written by Mike Newton, a familiar writer to anyone reading the Executioner series. The Super Bolans came along in 1984 to offer a fuller, larger book in the long running series. Presently there are 130 Super Bolans that have seen print. FLESH AND BLOOD has as its focus "Orange County's Asian underworld" as a war between drug lords is brewing. Mixing Mafia and Vietnamese stuggling to exert control over drugs, extortion, and prostitution in California the story soon sees Mack Bolan (Matt Cooper) enter the side of the the underdogs. Its a world and an enemy Bolan has seen before both in Vietnam and the U.S. Does Mack Bolan have a daughter? A child from those distant war days in Vietnam? Read this one to find out. Another good, solid read in the GOLD EAGLE series written by a very talented writer. Live large. Semper Fi.
