Our flags illustrate our history .

This is an older book , but still one of the best books on historical American flags . There are not many of this kind availible. The pictures are not photos but well drawn and in color . Each illustration has a paragraph of history next to the illustration . I had a copy of this as a child and loved looking at it . I stll enjoy reading it . A great short reference book for all ages .
