Five ghost stories blend spookiness and humor by taking young readers into the worlds of quirky ghosts and complementing each tale with funny twists. Original." This description may be from another edition of this product.
Five Goofy Ghosts is a story about five ghosts that live in a scary house. A boy walks in with his dog. In the beginning he is not scared. Then the room got colder. There were stair cases and a ghost appeared. The boy said "Don't scare me." The ghost looked angry. The boy was trembling. Fast as he could he ran out of there. He thought that ghosts couldn't talk, but he was wrong. I think that Five Goofy Ghosts is a good book it is a little scary and it is exciting and fun! I think that the story has adventures. My favorite part of the story is when the ghost speaks to the boy. I don't want to give a way the story. The story has nice illustration. I think the author did a great job. The cover has lots of detail. On the cover there are five ghosts. Most of them have their mouths open. One of them is playing a guitar and they're in a graveyard. And Five Goofy Ghosts is a fun and cool story. So I think that you should read this book. By Hilda

My daughter absolutely loves these stories. She is only 3 and we read them almost every night now. Her favorite is "The Hairy Toe". The stories start out a little spooky but always end up funny.
