A collection of five easy-to-read scary stories with humorous endings, including The Skeleton, The Scream, and Bloody Fingers. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I'm a second grade teacher and I read this book to my students at the begining of the year. Needless to say I had to buy 5 more copies, because my students always wanted to read that book. The stories in the book might start off as scary, but they end with a joke. Children won't be afraid of this book. It's a great book for children 6-8 years old.

I read Five Funny Frights. I liked the chapter called Bloody Fingers, because the oldest was scared but the youngest sister wasn't scared. She went up to the guy and said, "Get A Band-Aid".
