Read the basics shown here. Excellent book for gold exercises that help you in every practice ... even if golf is not your sport. Highly recommended.

Good information on golf fitness

This book showed me what stretches to do for golf. The strength training section is good also. Although it is not complete for a workout program, the pictures are of good quality and easy to follow directions. I also used Patrick Leonardi's book called: The Ultimate Golf Instruction Guide: Key Techniques for Becoming a Zero Handicap Golfer or Better, isbn 1933023090 to help me greatly with my golf swing.
