A Good Place to Start (Salmon Trolling):

Fishing Beyond the Bouys is a great primer for anyone hoping to increase their sportfishing success or who might be considering trolling as a livelihood. The book only covers basics but does so in such a way as to hold the readers interest. It's a simple, quick read and provides enough information to encourage further research. I believe the book is also an accurate portrayal of "a day in the life" of a commercial salmon troller. Many of us don't think about what effort goes into providing our table fare. This book not only provides insight about where our seafood comes from, it also encourages responsible seafood consumerism as well as catching. I highly recommend the book as basic fare for a starting point to salmon trolling success.
