This author uses historical data to demonstrate the principles of economic in easy to understand terms and in plain language. This incredibly short book clearly gives a foundation for answers to questions of economic import applicable to today's runaway budgets and the relationship to freedom. Originally written to help politicians in England make better economic decisions, Fisher realized the Brits had gone too far toward socialism and now has implored Americans to heed the rules of economics to make better decisions for the future.

A must read for anyone who wants to be informed.

Anyone who wants a clear understanding of why public funding of businesses, that real business concerns will not fund, almost always fails and at the expence of the tax payers, this is the book to read.
