A Masters Anthology--A Good Read

If you like the Masters, this is a book for you. A collection of some of the greatest, most interesting stories written about America's and the world's greatest golf tournament. Sections give you a good feel for the Masters, how it came to be, how's its run, Augusta National, its traditions and lore. Everything you want to know about the Masters--at least everything you should reasonably want to know--is here. Good read anytime, but especially in late March and early April as Masters week approaches. Should be required reading for a first-time Masters goer. Nothing shocking or controversial here, just good Masters related stories from some of America's best know writers and broadcasters. Good stuff, all. One question does remain, however. How could a book that is supposed to contain some of the best Masters stories ever written not have at least one piece by Furman Bisher, legendary scribe of The Atlanta Journal? In spite of that great, great omission, a good book and a good read. A lipped out birdie.
