Prayers lay the groundwork for a healthy spiritual life and begin in the womb just as they do for physical health. These prayers can lay a firm spiritual foundation for the baby's future, including prayers for the relationship of the baby to The Creator.
Just as we grow physical capabilities in the womb and beyond, we also grow spiritually. Those who pray for the unborn can use the information from the pregnancy calendar to pray for the physical health of the baby and take it to the next step to pray for their spiritual growth. It is my hope that as the parents practice praying in this way for their child, they will build a habit that will be passed down to the next generation.
