First Folks & Vile Voyageurs

My 6 year old loves the "Horrible Histories" series by Terry Deary. What a wonderful surprise to find that someone has written a Horrible History book about Canada. At age 6, she knows more about British, Roman, Greek & Viking history than most adults because of these books. Although she likes Claire Mackay's first Horrible Canadian Histories book, she did comment that there weren't as many cartoons as the Terry Deary books. I hope that Claire writes more Horrible Histories books as there is so much more to Canadian history. Claire has made Canadian history fun for a new generation of Canadian children. I only wish this book was around when I was in school.
